Alcohol cannot be served unless a meal is being ordered.
Contact details (first name and contact number or email) will be requested upon entry (not to be used for marketing purposes and destroyed after 28 days).
No more than 20 customers max inside the venue.
No bookings of more than 6 people.
1.5 metres between tables.
Increased cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces.
Due to reduced capcity, bookings are preferred, however we will attempt to seat walk-ins based on capacity.
Amarillo is a neighbourhood bar, with beautiful food and beautiful drinks.
We wanted somewhere to come for an interesting bottle of wine and some share plates lunch (fri/sat/sun), a glass of Manzanilla and freshly shucked oysters in the afternoon, a date with cocktails and delicious food early evening, followed by meeting friends for birthday drinks, and late night dining. All in a room with high ceilings, beautiful light, and a great sound system. Somewhere that seemed like it had been there forever.
Chef Shaun Clancy, working from a tiny open kitchen, has created a concise take on Mediterranean rustic, with a focus on great produce and clever takes on Iberian bar food. In addition to the seasonal lunch/dinner menus, there's a board with 4 or 5 daily specials.
